Drone panorama mission planner for parallel super-resolution panoramas
Fly a straight path sideways in front of a skyline, coastline or ridge and shoot perfectly aligned rows – for parallel, super-resolution panoramas without the distortion of a single-point pano.
What MavicMapper plans for you
- Sweep: the drone starts at the centre point, flies to one end and shoots one slow sweep across; the camera faces the subject.
- Rows: up to two extra rows above and below; at every stop the gimbal steps through all rows, alternating the order so it never jumps across the full range.
- Gimbal settle: after every gimbal move the drone hovers for at least the travel time + 0.4 s before the photo.
- Output: panorama size in megapixels and pixels, surface GSD at the subject distance, stops and row step.
