What MavicMapper plans for you
- Six shot recipes: Push-in (dolly in), Pull-out (dolly out / reveal), Truck (lateral slide), Crane / pedestal up, Orbit arc around subject, Fly-over / tracking path.
- Smoothing: path roundness, ease in / out, max acceleration, sideways acceleration in curves and climb rate shape the spline.
- Gimbal limits: camera heading ≤ 25 °/s and gimbal tilt ≤ 12 °/s by default – the preview shows exactly what the aircraft can fly; FIX slows the track only where needed.
- Keyframes: generated at a set interval; video resolution, frame rate, codec and shutter angle feed the exposure and storage estimate.
- Long shots are split into several missions automatically – each starts where the previous one ended.

Can I plan video path missions for DJI Fly for free?
Yes. MavicMapper is free, runs offline on Windows and exports DJI Fly waypoint missions (KMZ, WPML) for the Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, Mini 4 Pro and Lito X1.
Which drones are supported?
DJI Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, Mini 4 Pro and Lito X1 – all with native DJI Fly waypoint missions. The camera, speed, wind, gimbal and battery limits of the selected drone are used in every calculation.
How do I get the mission onto my controller?
Upload it over USB with one click (ADB or Windows MTP) to the DJI RC Pro, RC 2 or an Android phone – or import the KMZ by hand into a placeholder mission in DJI Fly.
